Expiration - The indomethacin 50 mg I have are 10 years old. Do they still have their potency?

Doctors always emphasizes the expiration date of a drug. I do have a client on my caseload that had this drug in 2004. I reckon that he mentioned that it's still effective, but its power had lowered.
